The Organisation

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (MFEM) is establishing a Program Management Unit within MFEM’s Corporate Services Unit. The Senior Advisor will be the first role established to support the Director General of MFEM.

The Position

The Senior Advisor will be responsible for overseeing the development of MFEM policies, monitoring progress against these policies, supporting MFEM’s business planning and corporate planning processes, monitoring progress against these plans and reporting on MFEM performance.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Bachelor Degree or Masters in Project Management / Public Administration / Management Accounting or related field

► Competent in English or French or both

► 5-10 years of project management/program management/management experience supervisory role(s) in public or private sector institutions

► Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

► Proven success working with all levels of management

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Strong written and verbal communication skills

► Able to use the relevant project management software effectively

► Be a Practical, Strategic and Analytical Thinker

► Have interpretation and research development skills
