ADRA has been working in Vanuatu since 2008, and has offices in Port Vila and Luganville.
The Position
The Rehabilitation Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Rehabilitation activities and support to the Project Manager of the Blossom Project. This role is part of the ADRA Blossom Project which looks to address family and gender based violence including through education programs for inmates in correction facilities.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Certificate/Diploma in Social Work and/or attend and participated in Family Life Education trainings
► Minimum of 3 year experience in working with vulnerable people or other related fields. Compassion for vulnerable members of society
► Counselling Skills including active listening. Patience and ability to remain calm in all situations
► Position open to Vanuatu citizens only
► Successful candidate will be required to do a police clearance
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Experienced in faith based counselling and/or experience working with gender based violence organisation
► Specialised experience in Gender Equiality projects.
► To have a current driver's licence
► Computer literate
