The Organisation

UNELCO, a private limited company with a capital of 525,773,650 vatu, has been operating in Vanuatu since 1939.

Through a Electricity Concession Contract and a Drinking Water Concession Contract with the Government of Vanuatu, UNELCO is :

- Producer and distributor of electrical energy on the island of Efate.

- Producer and distributor of drinking water in the urban centre of Port-Vila (Efate).

UNELCO is a pioneer of renewable energy in Vanuatu.

The Position

The selected candidate will be responsible to manage, monitor, and see the implementation of projects with high technical value (equipment installations, services, and solutions).

Essential Selection Criteria

► University Graduate - Bachelor Degree in Science/Electrical and/or equivalent

► 1 - 5 years' experience in project design and site management

► Strong technical or regulatory knowledge in field of electricity or water distribution

► Good oral and writing skills in French or fluent in English language and knowledge in French (or desire to learn)

► Drivers License

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Knowledge of Autocard and Access software is an advantage

► Good communication skills, with an ability to communicate well in a multilingual/multi-cultural team environment.

► Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.

► Good organisational and planning skills
