The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that demonstrates God's love and compassion. ADRA works with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action.

The Position

The Program Director is responsible for strategic oversight and implementation of the country offices programmatic plan. They are responsible for planning new projects, monitoring and evaluation and donor reporting. For the current projects, the Program Director will provide backstopping support and ensure that ADRA Vanuatu's projects are implemented according to project proposals and donor requirements. The Program Director works with the country office leadership to ensure the programmatic plan is in-line with the country office strategic plan, ADRA network priorities and the community needs of the country. The Program Director is also responsible for seeking new business opportunities.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Management or any other related field.

► Minimum three years experience within a related field and demonstrated people management experience.

► Commitment to ADRA's mission, beliefs and core values.

► Fluency in English and Bislama. Ability to communicate in French is an advantage.

► Finance and Budget management skills.
