The Organisation
Save the Children is the world's largest independent child rights development organisation, making a difference to the children's lives in more than 100 countries. From emergency relief to long-term development, Save the Children secures a child's right to health, education and protection.
The Position
The role of the partnership development consultant is to support Save the Children implement its emergency preparedness plan (see Annex A to this ToR) with a specific focus on validating the emergency preparedness plan (EPP) with key stakeholders such as government of Vanuatu (at national and subnational level) and engaging with local actors identified in the EPP as potential implementing partners under future humanitarian responses.
From: November 2020 to December 2020 - 16 to 22 Days (based on time sheeting).
Essential Selection Criteria
► At least 5-10 years’ relevant experience in partnership management, consortia management, strategic management, disaster risk reduction, humanitarian response
► Strong understanding of the Vanuatu international development context
► Strong consultation skills
► Sensitivity to Vanuatu culture, tact and constructive problem solving are essential
► Ability to produce high quality written work
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Excellent written and oral skills in English and Bislama
