The Organisation

The corporate Service Unit is a Unit under the Ministry of Internal Affairs that exist to provide advice and support to the Departments under the Ministry on Policy, planning, finance, HRM, NGO and Project Management.

The Position

The Media & Outreach officer is responsible to prepare and coordinate the media, advocacy & awareness strategy for the Ministry, updating the Web Site and Social Media applications with information, media releases, policies and legislation acting as RTI Focal Point information and inquiries.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Certificate in Media studies or web site management or IT or Public relations and/or related field

► Minimum of 3 years' experience and/or a relevant experience in a similar role

► Must be a computer literate, cooperative, supportive, team player, reliable, trustworthy, personable, punctual, hones and discrete.

► Must have web, database, report writing, presentation, planning & coordination skills.

► Must have sound verbal and written communication skills

► Must have driving license.
