The Organisation

Promoting a sustainable and inclusive Trade, the Ministry of Tourism, Trade, Commerce and Ni-Vanuatu Business (MTTCNVB) is responsible for the productive sector and related economic activities. It works collaboratively with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Fisheries and Biosecurity and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (MFEM) when it comes to bridging agricultural and financial developmental issues.

Whilst the MTTCNVB’s involvement with the productive sector encompasses multiple dimensions, its main function remains policymaking. The ministry sets the medium to long-term direction for the industries, trades and professions that fall under its responsibility, supports their development and improves the business environment.

The Position

Coordinate and facilitate the preparation and implementation of Tafea Tourism Development Plan and undertake other such programmes and activities for the development of tourism in Tafea Province.

Essential Selection Criteria

► University qualification in Economics, Tourism, and Public Administration

► Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in Tourism Industry or related field

► Computer Literate

► Good Leadership skills

► Good negotiation skill

► Ability to adapt to change

► Practical, Analytical, Innovative, and Initiative Thinking Style

► Good teamwork and communication skills

► Reliable, honest, and responsible
