The Organisation
Save the Children is seeking to recruit a consultant to train women in small business or small Livelihood activities. The Livelihood consultant will be providing technical support, training and mentor/coach women and vulnerable women in the 22 target communities in Sanma Province into agri-business to increase food production and income generation.
The Position
The Livelihood Consultant will lead in the development of training materials in livelihood for empowering women in livelihood capacity building and small business and financial management and deliver livelihood capacity trainings to 105 women.
Provide coaching and mentoring during the first month after the trainings and installations.

Essential Selection Criteria
► Strong knowledge and understanding of livelihood and agri-business
► Demonstrate strong experience in training and in agri-business installments with local farmers
► Good relationship or ability to develop these with rural women and other program beneficiaries
► Demonstrated experience in developing training materials a plan to deliver trainings, including methodology, tools, and timelines
► Demonstrated capacity in delivering high quality trainings to diverse audience
► Demonstrated ability to deliver project outputs on time
► Fluency in English and Vanuatu’s national language (Bislama)
► Excellent experience and skill in writing reports in English
