The Organisation
The Lycée Français of Port-Vila is a French school part of the big network of the French Schools across the world called AEFE. French program is delivered to students from 3yo to 19yo (Year 12) from all nationalities.
The Position
IT Manager will carry out the following tasks but not limited to:
- Administer and operate administrative and educational servers
- Maintain the computer park, plan the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of equipment
- Manage the IT network and scale the hardware, software and network infrastructure
- Establish computer network diagrams
- Manage directory servers and provide digital services to users
- Manage audiovisual equipment and videoconferencing systems
- Promote the development of digital uses in schools in terms of hardware, software and good practices
- Accommodate server systems that can meet teaching needs
- Training of users on new Technologies for Information and Communication in Schools
- Maintain and evolve the information system
Essential Selection Criteria
► Have a Master of information Technology or equivalent
► Have experience in IT Project Management
► Have a minimum of 3 years experience in relevant field
► Fluent in French
► Have good oral and written communications skills
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Have experience in a school environment
► Sound knowledge of the French system
► A sense of adaptation, anticipation and excellent relational ease
► Must demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and have a sense of organization
