The Organisation
Sista and CARE Vanuatu are working together to advance gender equality in Vanuatu.
Established in 2016, Sista is a charitable organization, based in Vanuatu, which is driven by feminist values. Sista aims to use arts, media and communications to empower women and girls, raise awareness and advocate on issues that affect them.
CARE is an international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities. CARE has been working in Vanuatu since 2008 helping communities with communities to increase their resilience to disasters and climate change, respond to emergencies and to advance gender equality.
The Position
CARE Vanuatu and Sista are looking for a consultant to support Sista in strengthening appropriate human resources, administrative and support systems to enable the organisation to manage a growing donor grant funding portfolio.

Essential Selection Criteria
► Qualifications and / or experience in human resources management or an associated field
► Sound knowledge of Vanuatu employment laws (including contract employment) and human resources best practices
► Experience and skills in salary scale development, recruitment and selection
► Strong interpersonal skills
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Basic understanding of feminist principles, and/or experience with supporting emerging organisations employing a collaborative leadership approach
