The Position

The Hotel is seeking to employ an energetic and self-motivated individual to occupy the role of Hotel General Manager and to assist the Managing Director in the overall running of the Hotel Operations, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing and Maintenance.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Demonstrated capacity in leading and managing a team and its individual members

► Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail with high proficiency in Microsoft applications

► Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in preparing reports and presentations

► Ability to understand and analyse complex information and strategy in a diverse business environment

► Prepared to work weekends, days, evening, and public holidays

► Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification and passion for quality service and food

► Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

► Ability to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders

► Sound time management skills and ability to work autonomously to deliver results within agreed upon reporting timeframes
