The Organisation
VAESP II is funded by the Australian Government and provides support to Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) to implement the Vanuatu Education and Training Sector Strategy (VETSS). VAESPII is managed by Tetra Tech, a global international development organisation with more than 40 years experience.
The Position
The Finance and Administration Officer provides operational support in the areas of finance, payroll and administration to the VAESP team.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Qualifications in accounting, financial administration, business administration or related
► Experience in managing payroll and program financial administration (preferable experience in using Quickbooks).
► Experience in program administration and logistics support
► Experience with government or corporate policies such as prevention of sexual harassment exploitation and abuse, fraud, and child protection (preferable)
► Fluency in Bislama is required. Strong English and French is preferred.
► Strong computer skills especially in MS Excel and MS Word. Preferable MS Planner experience.
► Strong written and oral communication skills, including report writing and analytical skills
► Strong organization and record keeping skills
► Able to work well in a team as well as independently
► Ability to be flexible and take on new responsibilities or tasks (can do attitude)
► Able to meet deadlines
