The Organisation
Vanuatu Post Limited was formed in 2000 and provides postal and other services to residents and visitors to Vanuatu. The corporation is owned by the Government of Vanuatu and operated as a commercial Enterprise.
The Position
The Executive Office Secretary with be responsible to:
Provide administrative support to the CEO, the Executive Management Team and Board administration tasks.
Act in liaison with between executives, employees and external stakeholders.
Responsible for Human Resource files, employment processing and records and administration functions of the corporate office.
This senior position requires availability during standard working hours and flexibility for occasional work outside regular hours."
Essential Selection Criteria
► Minimum of Diploma from tertiary institution in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or related fields
► Minimum of 3 years' work experience
► Excellent communication skills - fluent understanding of both oral and written English and Bislama. French is an advantage.
► Strictly reliable to handle confidential matters.
► Computer literate with MS Office Suite and applications
► Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
► Cares about personal appearance and dress to be of executive presentation
► Able to work with minimal supervision
► High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
► Results oriented and take ownership of targets, decisions and actions
► Strong customer services skills
