● Based in Port Vila with travel to the islands

● Salary VT 2.0M - VT2.1M / annual

The Position

Save the Children’s DFAT-funded Integrated Early Childhood Development (IECD) program Outcome 1.2: Local childhood service providers have improved skills/knowledge, attitudes, and resources to promote nurturing and responsive care practices.


The role of the ECD Coordinator is to work closely with the National RMNCAH Coordinator to facilitate the GMP+ intervention workplan to ensure Children 0-5 years old across Vanuatu are supported to reach their optimal development potential.


Essential Selection Criteria

► 4 years’ experience in a similar role and has good background knowledge in Maternal Child Health ( MCH)

► A good level of oral and written English/Bislama

► Is able to work proficiently using Ms excel, power point and word

► Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, including the ability to think creatively, set priorities and work with minimum supervision

► Highly developed relationship building, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

► Commitment to self-learning, development, and continuous improvement

► Applicant must have had experience working in a similar field
