The Organisation

Save the Children is the world's largest independent child rights development organisation, making a difference to the children's lives in more than 100 countries. From emergency relief to long-term development, Save the Children secures a child's right to health, education and protection.

The Position

The driver will work with all programs, management and support services in providing support with general administration and logistical work. The driver will also efficiently transport staff from work-related activities and maintain Organisation’s vehicles. The position involves working closely with the Administration Support Officer to ensure effective management of other office maintenance issues.

Essential Selection Criteria

► 3+ years of driving roles

► Class 6 or 3 driving license

► Basic motor vehicle experience and knowledge

► Good communication skills in Bislama, English and or French

► Organise and plan activities and complete tasks in a safe and timely manner

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Flexible, able to respond to changing situations and make adjustments

► Able to work effectively and calmly in a high pressure work environment

► Self-motivated, confident and work harmoniously in a cross cultural environment

► Willingness to spend extended periods of time in the field and work/travel over weekends, when required.
