The Organisation

Vanuatu Education Support Program (VESP) is funded by the Australian government. We work closely with the Ministry of Education and Training to improve education in Vanuatu.

The Position

Contracts and Procurement Officer will work with the VESP Finance and Administration team focused on project activity forecasting and contract management, including tracking of payments against contracts and forecasting cashflow. Registration and tracking of purchase orders, in terms of registration and forecasting payments. Provide administration and logistical support.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Finance qualifications and experience in financial administration or accounting

► Developing contracts using program templates and tracking expenditures against contracts

► Strong computer skills especially Ms Excel and Ms word

► Strong written and communication skills, including good summary and report-writing skills

► Strong organizational and record keeping skills

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Drivers license
