The Position

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for:

● Managing the implementation and compliance of the pillars of the Business Values.

● Maintaining customer segmentation in line with directives set

● Providing analysis and administrative support to CCO, Sales Director and/or General Sales Managers of each country under Oceania Scope covering Sales planning coverage, target setting, data and operational foundation

● Providing statistical analysis in order to assist in reporting and performance monitoring.

● Undertaking special projects as required

● Providing analytical, reporting to the General Manager"

Essential Selection Criteria

► Tertiary qualified in Business/Statistics

► Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

► Experience within the shipping industry and in a commercial/trade/sales role

► Thorough understanding of data analysis/analytics and interpreting data and market trends and share updates in line with demands.

► Strong analytical and problems solving, including a highly developed level of Excel and numeracy skills

► Strong administrative skills

► Ability to function as part of a team in a multi-skilled environment

► Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of an organization.

► Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
