The Organisation

The Position
The Safe Schools Program Manager will lead the implementation and management of Save the Children’s Safe Schools Program in Vanuatu, adhering to the organization’s Safe Schools Common Approach which is an all-inclusive, all hazards approach to keep children safe in and around schools. The program aims to empower children to stay safe, with a focus on girls and children with disabilities. The main components of Safe Schools in Vanuatu is strengthening national and subnational government policies and systems, improving school safety management and enhancing the knowledge, skills and behaviours of teachers and children for school safety.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Relevant University degree.
► Minimum five years experience in a relevant position in Vanuatu.
► Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with a wide range of people.
► Excellent reporting skills.
► Fluency in Bislama and English.
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Able to work proficiently with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
► Drivers licence.
