The Organisation

Sharper Image Vanuatu in Port Vila is the well-known one-stop shop for Copiers & Printers, Stationery, Furniture, Homeware, ITech, Consumables and Toys along with a wide variety of related services.

The Position

Sharper Image is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Representative to promote their wide range of products and services. The Sales Representative will be required to provide excellent customer service, from sales presentations and quotes through to negotiating contracts, following up balance of payments while maintaining good computer records and relationships with both customers and suppliers.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Educational background/degree in business, marketing, economics or related field

► Extensive sales experience and proven understanding of the sales process and dynamics

► Understanding of and commitment to excellent customer service and rapport building with customers and suppliers

► Able to make sales presentations, promote company programs and advise clients regarding products services, prices and availability

► Valid Driver’s License required

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Superb interpersonal skills

► Competency in Word, Excel, Outlook and able to learn new software as required

► Excellent written and verbal communication skills, preferably in English and French

► Able to prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, follow up sales and obtain balance of payments and maintain company database and client records, prepare sales reports etc
