We may also collect personal information from third parties such as criminal record and passport checks, and referees or previous employers, provided that appropriate consent has been obtained from the individual.

  • Recruitment, placement, and employment-related services

  • Contract management and HR administration

  • Payroll processing and benefits administration

  • Legal compliance, including labour laws and superannuation regulations

  • Maintaining contact with candidates and employees

  • Providing services requested by our clients or complying with client requirements

  • Applying for insurance including Workers Compensation and health insurance.

 

3. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information

We process personal data only where:

  • The individual has given consent; and

  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract; or

  • The processing is required by law; or

  • The processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Link Personnel Services, except where such interests are overridden by the rights of the individual.

 

4. Storage of Personal Information

We store personal information securely using third party storage systems. We only use the data for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Once the data is no longer needed, it will be deleted.

  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Individuals may request the deletion of their personal data, subject to legal and contractual obligations.

  • Right to Restrict Processing: Individuals may request limitations on the processing of their personal data.

  • Right to Data Portability: Upon request, and where reasonably and commercially practicable, personal data may be transferred to another service provider.

  • Right to Object: Individuals may object to the processing of their personal data in certain circumstances.

Requests to exercise any of these rights should be directed in writing to Link Personnel Services, and we will respond in accordance with this Policy.
