The Position
The Cash Program Manager will support the Save the Children (SC) Vanuatu office to become ‘cash ready’ by establishing cash programming activities and building staff capacity to respond to emergencies. The Cash Program Manager role will lead SC’s work in cash preparedness in Vanuatu, including: building SC’s organisational capacity in Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA); engaging with regional and national networks regarding CVA; identifying opportunities for innovative partnerships (with private sector, NGOs and local partners); and supporting business development opportunities to deliver on these plans. Recruitment of this role is subject to funding confirmation
Essential Selection Criteria
► Post-graduate qualifications in Education, Social Sciences, International Development, Business Management or a similar area
► Project management training or certification is a requirement
► A minimum of 3-5 years’ program management experience and familiarity with cash and voucher assistance operations and procedures
► Strong project management skills and demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with multiple partners especially government agencies, private learning institutions and government line ministries

Desirable Selection Criteria
► Able to work proficiently with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
► A willingness to travel to provincial locations within Vanuatu
► Knowledge of Bislama
► Drivers licence
