The Position
The Education Quality Assurance Officer will work through existing the Ministry of Education and Training systems to perform tasks promoting school safety, including, inspection of schools’ compliance with the government’s education quality standards, specifically focusing on safe schools measures, and ensuring quality delivery of safe schools program activities to achieve national-level impact. This position will work directly with School Inspection Officers supporting schools across Shefa, Penama and Sanma provinces, monitoring the engagement of safe schools interventions.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Relevant University degree.
► Minimum two years experience in a relevant position and broad working experience in Vanuatu.
► Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with a wide range of people.
► Excellent reporting skills.
► Fluency in Bislama and English.
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Able to work proficiently with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
► Drivers licence.
